AWS Federal AI Symposium 2026

This conference is for federal customers and partners in the following roles:

* Technology executives, leaders, and managers of AI offices, programs, and teams
* AI practitioners, including engineers and data scientists
* Anyone interested in learning how to apply AI in support of federal organizations

The event will be held at Amazon HQ2 in Arlington, Virginia on September 15 and September 16, 2026.

How can I get to the event?

Arriving by Taxi / Ride-share 

If you use rideshare (Uber or Lyft) to HQ2, typing in "WAS17" will now drop you at our designated ride share spot on S. Elm Street between 14th and 15th Streets. If you are ordering a rideshare (Uber or Lyft) to leave the campus, please ensure you select this designated spot as the preferred place for pick-ups.

Arriving by Car 

Amazonians and guests can utilize this list of nearby parking options which are also bookable on SpotHero, Park Whiz, and Parking.com.

Parking 

• NationalLanding.org- Find information on over 10,000 visitor parking spaces. 
• Symparkfor JBG Smith Garages - Reserve parking at nearby garages in advance. 
• Embassy Suites Crystal City National Airport- 1393 S. Eads St. Arlington, VA (472 feet from WAS17/19).

Is there a price to attend?

No. Registration is no-cost and includes access to sessions, Expo, meals, and receptions.

Is there a hotel to reserve for the event?

We do not have a dedicated hotel block for this event.

Can I get reimbursed by AWS for parking and travel costs?

No, AWS does not reimburse or validate parking or other accommodation and travel associated costs.

What is the dress code for attendees?

There is no dress code for attendees. Attendee attire varies from business casual, suits, hoodies, and jeans. Please wear what you are comfortable in. 

Yes. All attendees must be at least 18 years of age on the day they pick up their conference badge. 

What is required to obtain my badge?

Please be prepared to present a valid government-issued ID at check-in. 

What is the AWS Code of Conduct?

AWS expects all participants (attendees, staff, speakers, sponsors, etc.) to comply with the Code of Conduct and behave in such a way as to create a safe, supportive environment while at the conference and any conference-related events.

Do you offer continuing education credits to attendees or a certificate of attendance?

No. We do not offer continuing or professional education credits, or a certificate of attendance. 

Where can I get my registration confirmation?

You will receive a QR code the week before the event to expedite your check-in. Note that your registration may be placed on a waitlist. You will be notified if and when you are released from the waitlist.

The event agenda will be updated on this site and posted in the AWS Events App, which launches the week of the event.

Does registering guarantee me access to the keynote?

No. Space in the keynote hall is limited and registering for this event does not guarantee keynote access. 

Do sessions have reserved seating?

No, there is no reserved seating. Please arrive early to sessions you are interested in seeing.

What accessibility services are available?

All sessions will offer live captioning and the keynote will offer sign language. Accessible restrooms will be available, as well as accessible seating during meals.

Are you able to accommodate dietary restrictions?
